Cancellation Policy
Information for consumers under German law
1. Who this applies to
This cancellation policy applies to contracts concluded via
tawmae.xyz for the purchase of digital content (for example
extensions, overlays, widgets, and similar software components for Streamer.bot)
where you act as a
consumer within the meaning of § 13 BGB.
If you buy as a business, freelancer, or otherwise for commercial purposes, this statutory consumer cancellation policy does not apply.
2. Your statutory right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you need to send me a clear statement that you want to withdraw from the contract. An email is enough.
You can contact me here:
tawmae – Thomas Leleko
Spittaler Str. 1A
28359 Bremen
Germany
Email:
support@tawmae.xyz
To meet the deadline, it is enough that you send your withdrawal notice before the 14-day period expires.
3. What happens if you withdraw
If you validly withdraw from the contract, I will reimburse all payments received from you for that contract without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day I receive your withdrawal notice.
I will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless something else is expressly agreed with you. You will not be charged any fees for the reimbursement.
Since the products are digital content, there is nothing physical for you to return. If access or entitlements have already been set up for your account, they may be revoked after withdrawal.
4. Early expiry for digital content
For contracts for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (for example downloads, import strings, browser source URLs, or account-based access), the statutory right of withdrawal can expire early under § 356 Abs. 5 BGB.
This happens if:
- you expressly agree that I start performing the contract before the withdrawal period ends, and
- you confirm that you know your right of withdrawal expires once performance begins, and
- I provide you with a confirmation of the contract on a durable medium as required by law.
On tawmae.xyz, digital content is usually provided
immediately after successful payment, for example by activating
access in your account or making the paid content available to you.
If you give the required consent and acknowledgement at checkout, your right of withdrawal expires as soon as delivery of the digital content begins. In that case, the purchase is generally non-refundable, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
If you do not give this consent, I may wait until the withdrawal period has expired before giving you access to the digital content.
5. Voluntary goodwill refunds for custom work
Separate from your statutory rights, I may offer a voluntary goodwill refund for individually agreed custom commissions.
If such a goodwill promise is made for a custom project, it applies only to that specific commission and only under the scope agreed for that project. It does not create an additional statutory right of withdrawal and it does not apply to standard shop products unless I explicitly say so.
Your mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
